Namo Buddha retreat

The hair shaving ceremony is being carried out a day before the retreat, 22.11.07 at Namo Buddha Monastery.

Namo buddha Buildings

The front building is kitchen and dining hall. The back one is Main Monastery and main Shrine. The buildings below are new hostels for guests. The hospital is at the same level as the guest houses but infront of the kitchen. Two old guest houses are in front of the kitchen too but at a higher level. The old shrine with the monk- retreat centre is at the back of main shrine now.

This is the main monastery at Namo Boddha, 40 km east of Kathmandu.The guest houses are below the monastery.
