Namo Buddha retreat

The hair shaving ceremony is being carried out a day before the retreat, 22.11.07 at Namo Buddha Monastery.

Namo buddha Buildings

The front building is kitchen and dining hall. The back one is Main Monastery and main Shrine. The buildings below are new hostels for guests. The hospital is at the same level as the guest houses but infront of the kitchen. Two old guest houses are in front of the kitchen too but at a higher level. The old shrine with the monk- retreat centre is at the back of main shrine now.

This is the main monastery at Namo Boddha, 40 km east of Kathmandu.The guest houses are below the monastery.

The Rev. Tangga Rinpoche visited The Karma Kagyu Society NS during the month of October 2007. Ha came to the centre 20 years ago. Many old memories for many many members.He gave blessing to members too.

The Rev, Pema Rinpoche from Qinghai was very kind to have the 4 arms Cherinzig statue , 5 direction buddha statues and ChunTee buddha statues consecreated on 10-11 Oct 2007 at The Karma Kagyu Dharma Society Negeri Sembilan.
In fact The Rev. Pema Rinpoche had consecreated the Three Main Buddhas at in Main Shrine.The others statues were consecreated by Him too.The Society is very grateful to him.

HH Sakya Trinzin Visited the Karma Kagyu Dharma Society NS on 7th OCT 2007 at 2pm till 5pm. HH gave the KiLikiraya blessing to those present and all beings. HH came to Sban 30 years ago. The Society then had no centre.HH was pleased to see the centre.

The Photographic society NS made a trip to Sibu Island, Johore. The Island is similar to Phi Phi island Phuket. Nice beaches. We stayed at the Kelong , as shown at left. during 15-17 june 2007

visit to Tanjung Tuan Light house

Went to Tanjung Tuan Light House on 16.8.2007 with Kim Leong and Yew Ming. The light house will work to guide the ships plying the straits of Malacca during bad weather.

It takes 1237 steps to reach the top of the tiger cave temple, over looking the Krabi town.There are Buddha statues on the top.

Swimming at the crystal clear pond with running water. Not too deep, 2 meters is the deepest.

peoples are having a dip in the hot stream. The gushing water gives a strong massage on the back.

krabi -hot stream

The hot stream is the combination of a hot stream and cold stream resulting in a stream of about 40 C . Just nice to bath in . There are a few tubs here for us to dip. It is recommended to dip for 20 minutes only.

Four of us well equipped to explore the mekong delta. The trip took us the whole day , starting 6am till 5 pm . sun rise, floating market , fishing village , friut garden, making of popieng skin, small canal tour ..

A nice cafe at Phu Quoc Island . Can taste good coffee here while looking at the south china sea and welcoming the breeze .

At the immigration check point at Cambodia , crossing to Vietnam, which is 100 meter away. Vietnam immigration is there to check our luggage and passport.

This is the symbol of Chau Dauc , a fishing town in Vietnam. The town is very clean. From here we will go to Rach Gia by bus and to Phu Quoc Island by ferry.
