My primary school

Visited my primary school, Say Wah Primary School at Enggor , Perak. on 13th Nov 2007.

The frontage of the school is still the same but with fence added. I was at this school from 1955 till 1960.

Visit to Kuala kangsar

Some classmates of 1965 met at Kuala Kangsar on 13th Nov 2007. Scenes at River side. Yong Chuan and Jin Lan from US were with us too.

1st Negeri Sembilan Inter'nal Photo Salon Exhibition

The 1st Negeri Sembilan International Photo Salon Exhibition was held on 1st Nov 2009 at Royal Bintang Resorts & Spa , Seremban. More than 150 photo from the salon and more than 50 from the judges were exhibited for the day. Photographic talks by Ricky Teoh and Teo Bee Yen

were attended by more than 200 people.

Shilin is Surface karst landscape showing many unique shapes, sword, mushroom, tower,,pillar...

To explore the stone forest one has to toe along narrow path ( one way) . Many tourists crowded the area after 10 am . We went in early to avoid the crowd.

Jiuxiang is famous for caves that are underground. It has great cave with vast floor area like lion hall. Water fall and terrace fields. To get down one can take lift but to get up one has to walk 300 odds step or take carrige( jiao).To get back to entrance one can take cable car (10 min)or walk( 20 minutes) .

At Yiliang, Wan Fok temple is the place where Chen yun yun, mistress of Wu San Kwai turned nun. The Yan Chuan Temple at Yiliang has buddha statue carved on the mountain. This temple has a special place for Wu San Kwai too. There is a statue of Chen yun yun at this temple.

Yunanyi is on the road to Burma. The old town is still intact with redidents staying in the centuries old house. There are war museum and horse caravan museum.

This is the border town between China and Burma at the south west of Yunan. The other side is Burma. The town is being developed with lots of shops selling jade from Burma. If you know the stuff , you can get quality jade here.

At the precious garden at Luxi. It has many plants, wood fossil that turns to stone under low temp.but high pressure. A nice place to explore. Right at the centre of Luxi town.

The Tai chi bridge at Tengchung and the water fall at Tengchung. These are within the town centre.Very interesting to have a water fall in the city itself.

Heshun old town at Tengchong, the vocanic scenic spot at Yunan. The Heshun library is still functioning. The old town has a war museum too. Some family homes too. Locals still live in the town.Lots of shops selling burma jade.

At Potaso national Park, Xianggelila. It is at 3500 M above sea level. Tourists are advised to carry oxygen. The highest point is 4200 M . A bit commercialised at most spots.

A pagoda at the peak of a mountain at Shi Bao Mountain, Jianchuan. An animal market place on the way to Shi Bao Mountain. Pigs, cows horses , goats and dogs were trading at the spot.

In the bus on the way to Tiger Leaping Gorge , on the way to Dali. At the background is Jade Dragon Snow mountain.

8 of us were on a trip to Yunan from 28 aug -18 sept 2009. Visited Kunming, Dali,lijiang, xianggelila, Tengchong ,Pausan,Luxi, SweeLi, Yiliang , Jiuxiang, Shilin, teng jiang, Yunanyi and sight seeing around kunming. Of course shopping at Kunming too.

Cameron 2009

Tsung Wah Class of 65 met again in Cameron highland on 20th July till 22th July2009. Ten of us managed to make it. Hope the rest will be free to meet next time. The weather was good. The cool air was pleasing to us. We enjoyed the fellowship very much. Laughters every where .Some photo attached.

Sdar 67-74 reunion at Kangar- community work at kg Gial

The Sdar67-74 reuinion was done not without a heart for the kampong folks at kg Gial. A community work of tree planting was done at a mosque at Kg Gial. Raja Muda of Perlis graced the occasion. At the same time provisions were given to the elderlies and poor. This is Tuan Hj Husin 's kampong.

The Sdar67-74 reunion grand dinner was held on 2nd May 2009 at Putra Palace Hotel , Kangar.
The MC was none other than our great Kangkong ,Zainuddin assisted by mohd Ali.The welcoming speech by Utaz Saifullah Idris.The organising committee was strong and the proggrame was well orchestrated.All of us were touched by the presence of the convoy of Dr Manap family. We pray that Dr Manap will recover and continue serving the society and country.
